Tips for Trainers
|
This last week has been a complete whirlwind! I’ve never lost so much work but been so busy all at the same time. As the world rapidly went to a stay-at-home environment to help prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the intense need for Virtual Team Building activities was almost overwhelming. However, the forced creativity has been palpable!
I have been scrambling to throw together a solid working document for experiential facilitators this week. It’s finally finished! I’m sure there are some errors (asking for grace!) as there was no time for an editor to look it over. I will update it as time goes on, but I wanted to get it finished for today’s newsletter. Here is a link to download the full document, Virtual Team Building Activities. I will start working on more. I already have ideas for 10+ more activities but I wanted to get this first one out in a timely manner.
I’m going to lead a Zoom meeting on how to facilitate the activities in this e-book. It will be this Thursday, March 26 at 12:00pm MT / 2:00pm ET. Click here to join the Zoom Meeting. ID 102 085 679. I hope to see you there!
There were several people that sent me ideas to put into this e-book. I put in several guest submissions, and those that didn’t make the first doc will likely show up in part two! I love the experiential community. Everyone has been jumping in and hosting webinars and Zoom meetings to help spread great ideas around the globe. Keep up the great work everyone!
And just so you know, our warehouse is still open to ship orders! Not many people know this, but we operate Training Wheels on our property, so since we’re still at home, I can still ship orders out! I haven’t run the shipping department in a looooong time, but I still remember how to do it! I have great people employed that do this for me now, but for the short-term yours truly is more than willing to ship you any activities or props you may need. So if you have budget dollars you need to spend or any needs for support materials, I would love any support you can give to my small business so I can keep my staff employed for the long run. Thank you!
Best wishes to everyone in this odd time in history. Be healthy, be safe and remember that spending time in nature can be very healing for the soul.
Have fun out there,
Michelle
