How Empowerment Encourages Leadership
ACM Crew
Sheri, Tanya, Michelle & Amy
For the past four or five years I have been involved with the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and their annual awards show and music festival. It’s a super fun event and I always come home tired yet fulfilled from working on this great team. (Plus some crazy stories from backstage!)
One of the ACM Crew Staff I’m privileged to know and work with is Tanya LaBuick Robinson, who owns her own consulting company. With over 19 years’ experience in strategy development, project management and program implementation, Tanya has been instrumental in the delivery of high profile, time critical, extreme project delivery for complex “Super Projects”; including most recently Super Bowl XLVII and the London 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. Her portfolio expands to include the Sydney, Salt Lake, Athens & Vancouver Olympiads and Paralympic Games, the Manchester XVII Commonwealth Games, three Super Bowls, four Academy of Country Music Awards and a diverse spectrum of major international, national, provincial and municipal events and infrastructure projects. She is also one of our Master Facilitators for Personify Leadership and is one of the most solid individuals I know.
Tanya performed an Event 360°Analysis with the ACM staff in 2014. The analysis was intended to gain a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses as well as operational delivery of their workforce, event, or organization. This year she saw the full implementation of the Volunteer Crew Program organizational structure that stemmed from the 360° Analysis. She recently wrote an article on How Empowerment Encourages Leadership based on her findings from the analysis, and I wanted to share it with you. Click the article link here.
The 2016 ACM Crew! ( if you’re looking for me I’m in the upper left area!)
See Ya’ll next year for the 52nd ACM Awards!
Enjoy!
Have fun out there,
